Found out this morning that East Coast FM is to resume it’s programming from Monday 4th. January.

So I’ll be back next Saturday the 9th. at 4.00 p.m. as usual with A.M. in the P.M. and the Golden Oldies Show and will keep the spot indefinately.

However we will be only broadcasting via the Internet until we are granted a full licence.

So this is where I am asking for your help – please!

We need as many people as possible to email OFCOM and plead for our cause. We need support from the masses and you could help by just sending an email to

communityradio@ofcom.org.uk ….. telling them what you think of the Station and ask (beg) them to grant us a licence.

OK, I appreciate that most of you are not in the FM listening area – but they do not know that!

And when (if) we get the licence we will be able to upgrade things such as signal strength and produce better programmes.

Your help really would be appreciated.
